Cattle Operation

The ranch can be found in Saginaw, Texas, just a few miles north of Fort Worth. Pete Bonds father, P.R. (Bob) bought part of the Charlie & Mary Hicks Ranch in Hicks, Texas in 1933, which became known as Bonds Ranch. Bob Bonds died when Pete was two, so he was raised by his mother and the ranch’s foreman, Owen J. (Big Pete) Burnett  who became Pete’s role model. We've grown from being the largest contiguous land owner in Tarrant county Texas to a multi-state cattle operation. Over the years, we've grown and earned our reputation in the livestock industry from our grit, livestock, and  American Quarter horses.

Our family at Bonds Ranch is made up of dedicated owners and support staff who are passionate about what they do. We work hard every day to ensure that our animals are well-cared for and that our crops are healthy and abundant. A sign hanging in the office hearkens this well, "May your horse never stumble, your cinch never break, your belly never grumble, your heart never ache." We're proud to be a part of the ranching community and we're always happy to share our knowledge and experience with others. Pete Bonds said, “I’ve never had the millstone of heritage hanging around my neck.  The history of Bonds Ranch is yet to be made.”
